Breast Lumps

Approximately only 10% of breast lumps lead to diagnosed cancer however, it is important for anyone that finds a lump, or notes a new breast change, to go for professional evaluation, even if they have had a recent normal mammogram. There are various types of lump, including cysts and abscess lumps, fibroadenomas and fatty lumps. Treatments for the lumps can vary. Cysts and abscesses may require drainage, while others may require surgical removal.
